Besides touring the beautifully decorated Village, there are many additional activities to enjoy.

At the Kawartha Lakes Festival of Trees Christmas Boutique, shelves brimming with Christmas decorations, from stuffed toys to snowmen and ornaments, create a magical atmosphere under string-lit ceilings.

Christmas Boutique

Stop by the General Store, which has been transformed into our Christmas Boutique! Inside, you will find ornate decorations, unique gifts for the whole family, as well as our signature Settlers’ soup (which makes a great stocking stuffer). The Boutique is open during regular Festival hours.

Christmas Music

This year we will have Christmas Music projecting throughout the entire village! You will be able to hear the joyous jingles as you browse trough the event.

Craft Fair

Visit the Wray House where the Settlers’ Village Quilters have handmade items ready for sale.

Christmas Cafe

Hungry during your visit? Satisfy your cravings at the Christmas Cafe located in the Henderson House. Menu items include sweets, soups, sandwiches and coffee, tea and hot apple cider. Graciously sponsored by Tim Horton's Bobcaygeon.

Snack Shack

Stop by the Snack Shack for a quick snack! Menu items include hotdogs, chips, pop and hot chocolate!

Memorial Tree

This Memorial Tree is a special tradition at the Festival of Trees. When you purchase a special ornament, to take home and display on your tree, a memorial card is placed on the Festival tree in your loved ones memory. The tree is located in the Muir House, where the ornaments will be on sale for $5.

Candy Shoppe

Visit our Candy Shoppe located in the Kimble House. Enjoy sweet treats in all sorts of varieties! This was a HUGE favourite last year - and makes a great stop for stocking stuffers and gift ideas!

Preview Night

All sponsors and volunteers are invited to join us on November 14th from 6-8pm for the first glimpse! Enjoy wine, snacks and cheese in the Murphy Barn. The Christmas Boutique and Candy Shoppe will be open for browsing, and of course you can start off the bidding on the raffle and silent auctions items. If you have not received tickets from your sponsorship representative, please ask for them!

Drive Through Night

On November 13th from 6-8pm, we offer the chance to those with accessibility issues to drive through the village to view the lights and decor. This is by invitation, but should you or someone you know appreciate the chance to drive through due to inability to walk through the regular event, please reach out and we would be happy to accomodate.
